DOIS VENENOS EM UM ÚNICO FRASCO!! MAIS UMA BOA BANDA JAPONESA!! ESTE POWER TRIO FAZIA UM SOM COM GUITARRAS NERVOSAS E TECLADOS BEM TRABALHADOS!! TIRANDO ALGUMAS BALADAS QUE TAMBÉM SÃO BOAS O FLIED EGG É HARD PURO E DO BOM, FUNDINDO TODOS OS ESTILOS!! ESTA POSTAGEM É A PROVA DE QUE O ROCK ANOS 70 NÃO TINHA FRONTEIRAS!! A CAPA DE 'DR. SIEGELS..." É DOIDA IGUAL A BANDA!! NOTEM QUE ELA MOSTRA UMA MÁQUINA DE ATIRAR OVOS FRITOS QUE SERVEM PARA TIRO AO ALVO!! DOIDO ISSO NÃO?! JÁ O ALBUM "GOOD BYE" É O SEGUNDO ALBUM E É UMA MISTURA DE ESTÚDIO COM CAPTURAS AO VIVO DA BANDA!! NÃO CONSUMA ESSES "OVOS VOADORES" COM MODERAÇÃO!!
Reissue of the first Flied Egg album, originally issued by Japanese Vertigo in 1972. An offshoot of the short-lived Strawberry Path, Flied Egg were a trio of Shigeru Narumo (guitar, keyboards), Hiro Tsunoda (drums, vocals) and Masayoshi Takanaka (bass). They played a hogwash of progressive hard rock with pop-like flourishes all featuring English vocals.the album have a very nice psuedo Dali-cover painting. And what band to ever appear on the Vertigo roster had a better name than Flied Egg?

Shigeru Narumo - guitarra
Hiro Tsunoda - bateria
Masatoshi Takanaka - baixo

Good Bye:

This is great vintage psyche rock from the 70's."Side one" are all live tracks, and though I normally dont care much for live recordings this totally rocks! The high-reved energy is in full force here, with pounding drums, screaming guitars and some over-the-top falseto vocal lines - raw and rockin'!!
"Side 2" are all studio tracks with a much more prog slant than the more down to earth live tracks. That isnt to say they arent good, because they are, just not quite as rockin' as the live stuff.Great disc!

Flied Egg - Goodbye CD. Reissue of rare Deep Purple influenced Japanese heavy psych blues rock from the early 70s.

"Flied Egg was a Japanese trio, and I'm really not sure if their weird name was intentional or not. Their farewell album "Goodbye" reveals, although not the most stylistically focused band you've heard, three guys who obviously had lots of fun and enjoyment in what they were doing. The first side was recorded live, and consisted of loud guitar based hard rock. It's rather simple and raw music, but still very enjoyable if you're in for something hard and energetic. And the 12-minute "Five More Pennies" includes some good jamming.

The studio side is a bit more sophisticated and progressive, especially the excellent and complex instrumental "521 Seconds Schizophrenic Symphony" that includes some tasteful organ and piano too. The melodic "Out to the Sea" borrows the opening guitar chords from King Crimson's "Epitaph". "Before you Descend" has on the other hand more in common with the first side of the album. If you can find it, "Goodbye" will be well worth a listen if you're into hard 70's rock with some progressive elements thrown in here and there."

"Dr. Siegel's Fried Egg Shooting Machine"

Freaky early '70s psych rock from Japan here folks, as you may know already on account of how we highlighted the reissue of this band's second album on our last list. This one, with a truly hard-to-beat title, was Flied [sic] Egg's debut, released originally in 1972, on Vertigo -- with Flied Egg one of the few, if not only, Japanese acts to appear on the roster of that legendary UK-based label known for proto-metal, jazz-prog and other "hairy funk" delights.

This album dishes such delights all over the place, ranging from the Blue Cheer meets Uriah Heep heaviness of "Rolling Down The Broadway" to the weird choral interlude of "15 Seconds Of Schizophrenic Sabbath" to the classical prog flourishes of "Oke-Kus" (sounding like a warped version of ELP) to the sheer hippie psych-pop lunacy of the title track. And more! All in all, this is quite as crazy as its Dali-esque cover painting indicates. Definitely an essential for our Japanese '70s psych section, and anyone who loves them some acid rock guitar!

Quem explica é Veesee ‘The Mighty V’, que além do baixo comanda os vocais da banda:  “Ficamos sabendo na internet que em português, francês e italiano ‘merda’ significa ‘cocô’! Originalmente nosso nome seria Black Murder, m...
